SO cute!!

These are SUPER cute!! I'd been eyeing them and the matching vest top for awhile and finally just ordered them and have no regrets!! I feel like the rise is more high than mid, but I prefer that so it doesn't bother me. They're really soft and just adorable!! AND the pockets are usable!!

Comfortable Jean shorts

These shorts are amazing. Very comfortable. The material is softer and has a nice stretch to them. They are a little longer but I just fold them up to the length I want.

Size up once or twice

These are 100% cotton, so they don't stretch like a lot of brands these days that add elastic. I sized up one size, but I think how you carry weight will change whether you should or not. I'm a muscular pear shape- I'm thicker on the bottom than on top, so these are great in the waist for me, they're not loose in the legs like they are in the photo though; In fact, they are rather snug. Had I followed the size chart, based on hip measurement, I would have been sizing up two sizes but they'd be too big in the waist- pick your poison! I'm going to keep what I have and hope they stretch a little bit with time once worn.
