I am so happy with this FIFINE AM8 Microphone Kit! The sound quality is incredible—I use it for Discord and gaming, but it’s also been great for talking with family and even for my work meetings. It’s super versatile since it has both USB and XLR connections. One of my favorite parts is the boom arm stand. It’s very flexible and moves any way you need it to, which makes it easy to position perfectly and then move out of the way when I'm done. Plus, the RGB lighting and software give it a really cool look that fits my setup perfectly. If you're looking for a high-quality mic that works for everything from gaming to professional calls, I highly recommend this one!

The User’s Guide does provide tips for using third-party recording software.🟣The User’s Guide appears comprehensive. There are a few minor translation issues, but overall it is easy to follow. 🟣 I say “mostly” plug-and-play because you will need to make adjustments on both the mic itself and in your PC’s sound settings, as well as within any programs you use it with, such as Discord or OBS. 🟣 The product pictured on the box was black, but the mic inside was white, as ordered. 🟣 The boom arm has an integrated USB cord that must be plugged in to power the RGB lights. If you do not want the RGB lighting, that cord is not required. The mic itself has a separate cable that must be plugged in, so some cable management may be needed to keep things tidy. Both cords have USB-A connectors that can be pulled up to reveal USB-C tips, giving you flexibility when connecting to your computer or device. 🟣 The mic is very sensitive. It was able to pick up my whisper. The tap-to-mute feature is convenient, and the red light clearly indicates when you are muted. 🟣 The User’s Guide states there is a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. 🟣 WRAP-UP: I feel that the FIFINE AM8PROT mic is a great option for those looking to get into boom arm microphones. You can find similar FIFINE boom arm mics without RGB lighting for a little over half the price of this one.
