I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of this dress, considering the price and that it shipped from overseas. Generally that makes me dubious of the quality and sizing, since many Asian brands are sized smaller due to being designed for more petite frames. So I ordered a size up, but it's actually a little too big! Which is great because it will fit my 8 year old daughter that much longer. Suffice to say she loves her new "ball gown" and has worn it repeatedly. I'm a little worried about washing it, but I'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Overall, although I expected this to be merely "dress up" or even Halloween costume quality, it is much nicer and could actually be worn to... well, a ball! Not that my daughter is likely to attend any balls in the near future, but that doesn't stop her from pretending. So don't let the non-name brand and the origin discourage you from giving this dress a try!
