Hob - From Ambient - Stovetop Instructions:. 1 Boil 4 quarts of water for each pound of dry rigatoni; if desired, add 1 tsp. salt. 2 Add rigatoni and return to a boil. 3 Cook uncovered approximately 10-12 minutes, or until tender, stirring occasionally. Avoid overcooking. 4 Remove from heat and drain.

Barilla is my go-to brand

I often make my own pasta and I can definitely make my own rigatoni. I have a machine, but when I'm feeling lazy this is what I buy. besides taglatelli, bucatini,and pappardelle are my favorite cuts of pasta. But when I want a pasta that is filling and holds the sauce in it, I will go for rigatoni every time. sometimes homemade pasta recipes can't hold the sauce as well as a dried pasta. And when I have made pasta and put it in my dehydrator and run out this is what I buy.
