I had a similar hammock for several years and due to its age, I replaced it. The dimensions of both hammock were almost the same, maybe 1.5 inches different and the old hammock was longer BUT this hammock's material is so flimsy that it either drags the ground when a 50 pound kid sits in it OR is so high off the ground the kid has to try to climb in it. I have adjusted the straps every way imaginable and may try a different location ( different trees ) but I am seriously disappointed in the quality of the material.
