Stylish but stiff

I wear a size 10 medium width shoe; my left calf measures approximately 14.6 inches, and my right calf is 15 inches. I'm about 5'8 and weigh around 190 lbs. These boots are leather with an embossed crocodile pattern. They have a bit of a sheen to them, but are not shiny like patent leather. The zippers are on the inside of the calves, and they zip up smoothly, and once zipped, the zipper portion does not really show. I have to be a little more mindful of not walking too close-legged as the zipper-pulls will graze one another. The insole is quite comfortable. The bottom of the sole is smooth without any ridges. The toe is like a rounded-square shape. The buckles are functional, but they don't adjust anything so they are mostly ornamental. The ankle area is very stiff so these will need to be broken in. My husband said these remind him of motorcycle boots. My biggest gripe is the slouchy appearance of the right boot near the ankle area despite the stiffness of the boots. The left boot is beautiful and stands up straight without a slouchy appearance. Hopefully a detailed eye can see what I'm referring to in my photos. If I could just exchange the right boot, I would do so in a heartbeat.
