Making Bread is Fun!
This is a super user friendly bread maker. I was determined to try it right out of the box and after looking through the manual decided on French bread for my first attempt. It was easy enough to set and I followed the recipe given in the back of the manual. I'm sure you can follow something from another recipe book as well but results may vary. There is an internal pan that the loaf cooks in. I like the little window that lets you peek in and see what's happening. I look forward to trying to make pizza dough in here as well. It came in a pretty baby blue shade, goes just fine with my overall green kitchen. I'm really excited to try out all the different functions and get creative with my breads. It's nice to be able to choose 1 or 2 lb loaf options, I went with the 2 lbs right away.

Old Dog Learns New Trick.
I have baked bread since I was 7 and helped my great grandmother. I am nearly 70, and have always looked askance at a machine. I received this as a gift and was ready to re-gift it, but thought, Why Not? My first French loaf was perfect, so I made a rye bread with seeds. The little tray did its magic and I devoured my pastrami sandwich. With caraway. The smaller loaf is perfect for one, and I love being able to do other things instead of kneading rising proofing baking and cleaning the counter, the bowl and the mixer, and being attached to the process for four hours.
