The assembly was pretty easy, there are obviously several steps but not hard at all. It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to complete it. We were able to move it from inside the house to the garage after it was assembled. We needed more storage space and this worked out perfectly. You can adjust the shelves to your liking and it is so far very sturdy.
