The Soyer wide calf boots are amazing! I am an ex dancer and never in my life was able to buy a pair of tall leather boots because of my strong calfs. This fits perfectly! I wish to have in color black, I would buy it right away! My European size is 36, usually I size up in the US, especially in booties. I bought a 7, and it's great. The style and material is beautiful and it's not too heavy either.

Great boot,fit!

I love these boots! They fit my feet and calves perfectly. I don't understand why some reviews claim they aren't “true” wide-calf boots. I own multiple pairs of Penny boots (in black and neutral) as well as the Elia Wide Calf Knee High Boot (snake print), and all fit my calves wonderfully. While I might be able to wear them with skinny jeans or pants, I've only styled them with tights or bare-legged so far. My calves have always been athletic, going from 17.5 inches to 16.5 inches, and finding wide-calf boots that don't leave excess material pooling around my small ankles has been a challenge for years. Sam Edelman is the only brand I've found that not only looks great but also fits my muscular calves perfectly!
