I will say this to start: I was confused at first about what the product actually WAS…..I thought I was ordering 1 taller box. But when I saw it, maybe 2 short storage boxes—or just 1 taller storage box? Or maybe I could make it either way? But after I studied it, I could only figure out how to make the 2 shorter boxes. Maybe I was wrong. Maybe you can make a single tall box by removing one of the bottoms. Two boxes worked best for me because I have a queen bed that lets them both fit. A great product for my underbed purse storage! It arrived well-boxed. I easily opened it, then laid all the parts out on my table. I was also glad that it didn't smell bad. Assembly was simple with the detailed illustrated instructions. Push together the metal bars that will strengthen everything, then insert those bars into these loose fabric “tubes.” Zip on the top to connect the main pieces. That's about it! I'm not usually good at putting things together. But the instructions were very easy to understand. I felt proud that I could do it, but now I see that the people who designed everything were the ones who deserve most of the credit.
