These have a longer and thicker base than AirPods. They were on sale where I bought them, and I'm absolutely happy with them. I tested them out, they're easy to pair, and the sound is … eh a 5 out of 10 rating. They are solid, especially for your kiddo. I bought an activewear ear piece that slides over the ear tip, and secures them so they don't fall out of our ears. They stay in pretty decently though on their own. I don't think that I'd pay full price for these, but they're certainly doing the job.
