LEGO Technic Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear Megacar - Building Set for Adults, Ages 18+ - Model Car Kit for Display - Gift for Men & Women - 42232

I was desperate for this set and ordered as soon as it came out. I have built almost all other 1:8 cars available and this is by some way the most complex and detailed and the mechanism for lifting the tail and opening the bonnet and doors is great fun. You must admire a piece of design work like this, the complexity is extreme and the need to study the instructions and test the build as you go is essential. Especially the gear box and the mechanisms for controlling the complex switching mechanisms for boot / doors / bonnet. So a highly recommended from me. Some could be betters…… This is not a toy. It's art. It should be admired but not played with. It doesn't take much to break something. Most importantly this set is a massive plus for zero stickers but a big negative for the lights on the front. Where's the glass lights? It's such a big miss if I was Lego I would offer a retro refit of the 2 panels in question with some proper glass and the steering wheel…. It's the wrong shape! Small things by details matter…… Buy it and build it - my favourite car build yet. Do more Lego…… but eyes on the details please

This is easily one of the best LEGO builds I've ever experienced. The design is incredibly intelligent, with several challenging and rewarding sections that really showcase the engineering behind the model. The engine, doors, and overall detailing are absolutely superb and make this set feel truly special. There were a few tricky moments during the build, but they added to the sense of accomplishment rather than taking away from the experience. The finished model looks stunning and captures the Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear beautifully. My main criticism is that I wish LEGO had included brick-built front headlights instead of using printed elements. At this price point, that would have made the model feel even more premium. I also noticed that the roof sits slightly ajar, and the boot panels don't sit perfectly when the model is displayed vertically on the wall. While not a major issue, it does affect the overall presentation. Finally, this is definitely a display model that needs to be handled with care. Some sections are quite delicate, and pieces can come loose from even very minor touches. Overall, despite a few small flaws, this is an outstanding set and one of the most impressive LEGO builds I've ever completed. Highly recommended for experienced builders and supercar enthusiasts
