Great Trash Can

My previous trash can was similar to this one and I knew that I wanted to get the same kind again. My previous one I had to plug in, and this one runs on batteries. The description said the batteries have long life so I hope they do. It is definitely a plus with this one as there is no cord running to it. It was packaged great so there was no dents in it, which sometimes happens. I love that it has the butterfly lid on top. Of all the trash cans, this is what sold me on this style of trash can. When this lid opens, it exposes the entire top of the trash can making it possible to dispose of a lot more trash without spills to the can. The base of the can is made of stainless steel which matches my appliances in the kitchen. The top is a brushed steel that is great as it doesn't show the dirt or spills that may have gotten on the top. It keeps its clean looking until you have a chance to clean it. This trash can uses the standard 13 gallon trash bags and they fold over the top of the can perfectly. The trash can also has an inside ring around the top that you can lift off and place over the top of the bag to keep the bag from sliding down. I found this trash can to be as good if not better than my first one and it was a lot cheaper too. Great buy!
