My daughter loved the overall fit of these shorts. She's between sizes (a 9 if they had a 9) so they fit a little on the bigger size, but the drawstring helps keep them cinched, but still comfortable. They fit flowy, rather than appearing baggy. Definitely cute. I wish they made a size 9, but upside is she may get more than one summer out of these since they are a 10/12. Great price point, too.

The shorts are soft material and a little too short for little girl. The waist was big but there is drawstring to adjust waist. I didn't see a cell phone pocket, curvy, no belt needed and it's working out.
