Beautiful at first, but disappointing in the end

I really wanted to love this rug, and I did initially. Unfortunately, after spending several hundred on this rug, it faded in less than 1 year into a gray/blue tone that makes it look old and drab. I would only recommend this rug if you don't let sunlight touch it, never walk on it, and don't mind the significant fading that happens within a short window of time. First picture is initial color and second is current.
