Great mount for a great price
This was a great purchase. Great value compared to a lot of the other ones that are found online. This is perfect for the space that I was trying to put my TV. My ceiling isn’t really high, but my fireplace is really big not leaving me a lot of room for a regular mount. My only thing with the installation was it was very hard to get an imposition, but it wasn’t because of the amount exactly it was because of the space that I had. The amount is spring loaded and very hard to pull down if it’s not secured to the wall yet. Other than that, this was great.

Solid tv mount, worth every penny
I was sceptical about the quality of this because it's a fraction of the cost of similar pull down tv mounts that I saw online. This is solid. Overbuilt and heavy duty. On the lightest tv setting, I still have to pull down forcefully to get the TV down so I'm confident that this will last for a long time.

fantastic idea for over fireplace mount
I didn't know this mounting bracket existed, but I'm glad to have found it on Walmart at a great price. I don't like the idea of mounting a television over a fireplace, it is just way too high up. this makes it easy to pull down to a level within your field of view without straining your neck. FYI: be careful when adjusting the weight setting. The adjustment bolt sheared the weld and shot the bolt in the air (see pix) I would strongly suggest buying an additional bolt and screwing it into the bottom adjustment hole to carefully make incremental adjustments to the weight setting with both top and bottom bolt for less strain on the welds. it can be a little tricky, but still works well once completed and locked down. and yes, I would still recommend this mounting bracket.
