I had to purchase a new bag while out of town and had this one delivered to my hotel. It was the lightest suitcase I've ever had. I packed it full and had no issues with the suitcase first flight. Used this for a 2 week trip to Europe. Through airports, on and off trains, over cobblestones, and it performed like a champ! I love how light and roomy it is! I had plenty of room for clothes, toiletries, gifts, and souvenirs, and at its fullest still left me unconcerned about being overweight. I plan to buy another in carry on size.
