I've been using this daily for 2 months. This was pretty much the only light therapy cap that didn't cost and arm and a leg that had red, blue, and the combined violet light as an option. I specifically needed a blue light option to help fight the seborrhoeic dermatitis on my scalp (along with my usual products that help) and so far so good. Every morning I do 10 minutes of violet light on the highest setting (and non-blinking) and 10 minutes of just blue light at the same setting. The light is surprisingly strong and the interior of the hat does get a little bit warm over time. I notice that while I used to have to use a scalp oil every single day to keep my scalp healthy, when using this cap every day I only need to use my oil 1-2 times a week instead. I also do notice more baby hair growth along my hairline, so I think the red light from the violet setting is doing a little bit of help with hair growth. Because my main purpose for this was keeping my scalp healthy I do wish it were a cap shape that contoured more of the scalp including the back lower scalp instead of just the top of the head, but I'm still glad I got this. It took lots of time to see results but for the low cost and how little work it takes to use, I found it very worth it.
