I've bought similar water books before but this one is superior because of the search and find element. It actually gives them a goal rather than just mindlessly coloring the page.

The spiral binding is nice and sturdy, and the pages are thick enough that they don't tear when wet. The water pen is easy for small hands to fill and use. Excellent birthday gift for a 5 year old.

We keep this in the diaper bag for when we go out to eat. It keeps both my 4 and 7-year-old entertained while we wait for food. The colors come out really vibrant and it's cool that things only reveal color if they're actually part of the search game.
