Mainstays Kids Twin Wood Loft Bed, Warm Walnut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently added this loft bed setup to our kids room and with three kids in the house, space and durability were my biggest concerns. This ended up being a really solid upgrade! The first thing I noticed was how sturdy the frame feels once its fully assembled. The ladder is secure and the rails give me a peace of mind for the top bunk. My kids were immediately excited about it, but as a parent, I care more about safety and this checks that box. What I really love is how much usable space it creates underneath. We were able to keep a small set up below (toys/keyboard/reading area) which helps keep the room from feeling cramped. That alone made a huge difference and how functional the room feels day-to-day with two boys in a smaller bedroom. It also looks very nice without being over the top. The wood tone is warm and fits easily with the rest of the room, which I appreciate since kids rooms can get chaotic fast. If you have multiple kids or are trying to make the most out of a small bedroom and this is a nice practical option. Feels like one of those pieces that actually makes life easier instead of just looking good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed was delivered in pieces in one long box. The instructions were easy to follow and it took 2 people to construct it. There were some holes that needed to be finagled with to make sure the pieces fit exactly. Overall, it wasn't difficult to construct. This bed is definitely a space saver. I love having the extra space below and will eventually add a desk and chair or seating area (beanbag!?). Right now it's a great cozy reading nook. I like how the rails go almost all the way around. We have a pretty thin mattress so the rails come up high enough to not roll out or worry about someone falling out. It's taking some getting used to to learn how to climb up and down the ladder. I think this will be a furniture piece that will stay as my kid gets older. It is a nice looking piece of furniture and I like that there are other Mainstay furniture pieces that match that I could purchase.
