I am sorely disappointed with this bench. My son assembled this during my absence. It's not as strong and durable as advertised. And although it boasts as holding several hundred pounds, I won't trust it to sit on. I want to have it returned and refunded. I cannot lift it and would want a Wal-Mart driver to come and get it. We were so impressed that I've shipped 3 to family down home and they positioned along the hillside trail leading to our family cemetery and two sitting within the cemetery itself.

So easy to put together, it took me about 10 minutes taking my time. 8 bolts, 4 nuts and the washers. A wrench for the nuts and allen key for the bolts is included. Almost everything is metal except for the section your back rests against. I don't really foresee that being a problem. The seat doesn't bow any where you sit, even when 2 adults are sitting. It's very comfortable.
