Big sturdy, heavy duty plastic very small openings for the hangers and by draping sheets over the top of them, we know that the clothes will be protected. These clear garment bags are strong and hold a surprising amount of clothes. I bought them to use for transporting clothing to Salvation Army for donation and they held so many items on hangers I could barely lift them when filled.
