• Adults and children 6 years of age and older:
• use twice a day after brushing your teeth with a toothpaste
• vigorously swish 10 mL (2 teaspoonfuls) of rinse between your teeth for 1 minute and then spit out
• do not swallow the rinse
• do not eat or drink for 30 minutes after rinsing
• instruct children under 12 years of age in good rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing)
• supervise children as necessary until capable of using without supervision

This One Doesn't Burn
Finally, a mouthwash that doesn't burn so badly that it brings tears to my eyes! My dentist told me I needed to use an antiseptic mouthwash to help with dry mouth and decay issues. When I first began, I basically cried every time I had to use it. So I bought a milder version that was purple, and it was better, but it still burned. Then I discovered this one, the clear version, and so far it has been a true godsend. I can use it without any discomfort, which makes me much more likely to use it rather than 'forgetting' to use it. Time will tell if it works as well as the other two, but I'm sure hoping so because, for me, that would be a deal-breaker. So here's hoping it's just as effective - but, since I'm assuming it is, I highly recommend it!
