I was not used to the faux shoelaces, which makes them much like slippers that look like sneakers. I do not believe they are adequate for much more than walking and jogging. Otherwise, the quality seems good, and the removable footbed is a big plus for managing moisture and odor. I like them OK, but they can never replace lace-up New Balance.
