It does everything just as advertised. Had it put together in about 30 minutes. It is not as long as regular hospital and nursing home overbed tables are which is nice. Sitting on the edge of a bed or in a wheelchair, this wonderful table can be utilized. A place for a dvd player, laptop, diary, whatever, and a side shelf just right for a cup of coffee and bag of chips.

Very cheaply made

During assembly, it became obvious that this was cheaply made and flimsly. I originally bought this for my disabled mom so she would have a table to eat on while in bed or on the recliner. Thats not gonna happen. Its hard to adjust this table and isnt stable enough. I still may keep it because my mother can use it to color her pictures. Dont buy. Spend a little extra for a better quality underbed table.

you only have maybe 8 inches to go over bed. Definitely does not fit a hospital bed. Not sturdy enough to use for a child. Will no last long. Board is very cheap particle board. Assemble is not difficult but to always reaching under board to tighten or loosen board for adjustable top is NOT achievable with fine motor limitations. Plus height with adjustable knobs (4!!) will make very uncomfortable for use. This is more for a desk or table chair ! False claims. Clearence height does not calculate metal bars and knobs
