This product met my expectations. I had gotten a pretty rough cardboard cut (like a paper cut but worse) and used this on it and the lidocaine helped reduce the pain significantly. Additionally, the ointment wasn't "wet" feeling like some, and melted into the skin once it sat for a while.

Neosporin products always work well for healing a cut or scrape more quickly. What I really like about Neosporin + Lidocaine Ointment is that it provides some extra relief for more painful scrapes and cuts by temporarily numbing it. It's consistency is thick enough that it goes on and stays on but not too thick that it's hard to spread.
