Ozark Trail Men's Cowboy Hat, Brown

I'd like to provide my review of the Ozark Trail Men's Cowboy Hat in Brown. This is often labeled as OZT Cowboy Hat). I finds this to be a great western accessory that punches way above its price tag. If you're looking for an affordable way to channel your inner cowboy for casual outings, festivals, yard work, or just everyday Florida sun protection, this one's a solid contender. The brown color on this hat features a nice “ombre effect”, it's darker on the crown fading toward the brim edges, giving it a stylish, classic western vibe without looking too costume-y. It's got that traditional cowboy shape with a decently wide brim for good sun/rain coverage. This hat is made from a paper-based material, which keeps it super lightweight and surprisingly breathable for warm weather. It holds its shape decently well if you don't crush it constantly. Spot cleaning is easy, and it doesn't require much maintenance. I think it's extremely affordable, it's lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear, it provides good sun protection with the wide brim, and it has a great western styling that looks better than you'd expect for the money. I think this is a perfect entry-level cowboy hat for beach days, barbecues, or casual trail rides; basically, anyone in hot climates (like Florida) wanting shade without sweating buckets. It's for budget-conscious folks who want the cowboy look without committing to expensive gear. As a fun, functional, affordable western hat? It delivers big time. Ozark Trail continues their streak of providing surprisingly capable gear at great prices.

This is the 2nd hat out of the two that was sent me for to review. I didn't like the colors as much as the lighter one but I wore it one time when I had all black on and it fit better than the tan colored hat. It fits just as snug and has enough coverage to block out the sun. The material is just like the other hat, flimsy, but durable enough that if you were to accidentally sit on it, its original shape will come back.
