This unit does not contain a power cord adapter needed for a first time installation. I was replacing an old streaming stick and was able to use the old one so it was perfect for me. Buyer beware. If you are installing a Roku for the first time, get the one with the power cord. On the plus side, the installation was very easy. I was dreading logging into all my apps. No need to worry. I logged into everything.

Easy, Easy, EASY! Thank you Roku!!!!!

We are FAR from techies so we were a bit hesitant to trust the installation of the Roku device would go well for us, but it could not have been easier. Also, at times our wireless printer has connectivity issues and quits for a couple of days. The Roku/tv are in the same room, two rooms away from our WiFi box and so far the Roku connectivity has been perfect. We've found plenty of great movie selections to choose from and the picture and sound quality are great...we are happy campers. Easy, easy, easy!
