I would suggest going to the store to buy this because it is a very thick denim. It is comfortable however you may need to size up in the woman's chest area It may fit snug if you don't get the next size up it's sporty it's flattering with shorts or jeans, but as I stated before the chest area is something you may need to consider so going to the store to try it on might be better.
