Hello Aaron! Thank you for your trust and purchase of the KESTE shower head. I apologize for any inconvenience caused. The connection point to the water pipe has a 360° adjustable ball joint. This ball joint may be tight and difficult to adjust on first use. This design ensures the ball joint can support the shower head without sagging and for long-term use. You can hold the shower head and the entire base with both hands and rotate it left, right, up, and down with full force. Don't worry, if this process causes any damage, our company is fully responsible for your loss.This process may be a little strenuous, but after completing this step, the ball joint of the shower head will be much easier to rotate. If you still cannot rotate it despite applying significant force, we recommend adding one drop of oil to the ball joint. This will make rotation much easier. As for the handheld shower head not aligning properly, all of our fixed shower head can move sideways in small increments to matchthe handheld shower head. You can placing the handheld shower head along twosides of the double base, taking care that your hands do not block the outside ofthe double base. If these do not work for your problems, please feel free to contact us, so we can help you better.
