GE Opal produces delicious nugget ice faster than any other machine I've used. While it looks sleek on the counter and boasts an impressive storage capacity, that comes at the cost of a sizable portion of your countertop. You'll definitely hear it working, but it makes more of a steady hum that is not at all distracting. Transformational!

I'm addicted to my ge nugget icemaker! Use it everyday and LOVE it. First saw at a friend's home and immediately bought one for my place as soon as I came home. It's wonderful—quiet, easy, delicious ice improves every beverage (including iced coffee!), great looking, A+ on all counts. Capacity is plentiful for small family or singles.
