These are amazing pajamas. I don't like the polyester pjs that makes the fabric have the roughness overtime. These waffle knit are so so soft, they do run a tad large, I stayed with the current size instead of sizing up. My son is a 12/14 usually so I ordered the 10/12

Kiddo is normally a 4T shirt, 3T bottom (tall for a 2-year-old). I got this set in an XS and it looks great! Slightly oversized on first wear but counting on it potentially shrinking after being washed. The bottoms have an elastic waist which is perfect as some 4T shorts fall down on him. I also think it can pass for a matching everyday set vs pajamas. Buying in more colors!

He is a stocky 12-year-old, and the size 14-16 is just a little big on him, but he likes them and will be able to wear them for a while. These do fit looser. The material is a soft waffle pattern, so it might feel just a hair warmer than just plain cotton, but I've had no complaints from him.
