Athletic Works Women's and Women's Plus Core Running Shorts, Sizes XS-4X

Walmart is stepping up their game with these sporty shorts. These are better than the more expensive trendy brands in my opinion. The price is right too. These high quality shorts hold up well in the wash and the color stays vibrant. As a 50 year old woman, these shorts are the perfect length and nice for summer walks. I have these shorts in three different colors.

I originally bought these for my 12-year-old daughter, who is 5'7" and wears a women's size small, and she absolutely loves them. We have five pairs now in different colors because they've become the shorts she wears most often. She runs cross country and also plays soccer, and these are her favorite shorts for both. They're comfortable without being too tight or too loose, and they give her plenty of room to move while she's running and playing. The fit has worked really well for her, which is why we keep buying more instead of trying something different. They've also held up very well to regular washing and drying. I haven't noticed any construction or quality issues with any of the pairs we own, even though they get worn frequently for sports. For around $10 a pair, I think these are a great value, especially for athletic shorts that actually get a lot of use. At this point I'm probably going to grab a few pairs for myself the next time I need running shorts.
