Nice warm cardigan. The yarn is not too thick. It is more of a thinner, dressier, well made sweater. It's a soft, tight, comfortable weave. I think it will wash well and hold its shape. Warm, stylish and comfortable

Came out of the packing ready to wear. Lays Excellently around the shoulders upper body down to about mid back pocket length. Stylish both buttoned or open. Perfect for cool outdoors and chilly restaurants. Provides full coverage while seated. Mine stays in my car for any venue where coats are to heavy and restricting and lighter weight upper body garments leave me chilly. Good clothing.

I am 5'11 and weigh 187 lbs. These size large medium weight sweaters fit me perfectly. Excellent long sleeves and not too long and baggy in the rear. I think for the price you'd be happy with them.
