Rosacea safe!

So, I'm going to tell you why I thought this was going to suck, but ended up loving it. When I first opened up the box, it smelled like paint thinner, and I was like "Oh no, what is this?" But, I was determined to try it, because I have rosacea, and I am ready to try anything at this point, to dull the redness and irritation. I put it on the back of my hand first, and it smelled awful for about two seconds, and then the smell completely dissipated. I am insanely sensitive to smells, and I'll be honest here, if it had lingered even a bit, I would have thrown the bottle out and given a bad rating. Thank goodness it didn't, because it actually seems to be helping to even out my skin tone. When you first put it on, you might get a skin tightening effect, but otherwise it doesn't feel like anything. It comes out of the bottle like a thick liquid, goes on smooth, and absorbs in very fast. If you have sensitive skin like I do, I recommend a patch test first. The back of your hand or inside of your wrist are good places to patch test skin products for your face. Since it didn't irritate my rosacea, it should be safe on just about any skin type, but always test new stuff first. I put it on one side of my face and left it on all day. The photo on the left is where I used the Bakuchiol serum, the second photo is the side where I didn't. Then I used the serum on the right side today (the third photo), just to make sure it wasn't just coincidence. I think you can tell, It really evened out my skin tone, I can see a LOT less redness. Today is the first day in over a decade, where my skin woke up and looks like it didn't choose violence! I tried this serum because my skin is too sensitive to retinol, and this serum provided exactly what I needed, in an alternative ingredient. I'm very happy with it, and recommend it to anyone else with sensitive skin, if you are looking for something for wrinkles, or uneven skin tone, this is the best I've come across.

Bakuchiol Retinol Serum

I really like this face serum because it has both retinol and a natural retinol alternative in the form of bakuchiol, something Korean skin care has already figured out. For people who are sensitive to regular chemical retinol, this is a good replacement with antioxidants and things to keep the health of the skin barrier safe. This is a good size of product at 50 mL and I like that it comes with the dropper embedded in the top bottle handle. I have oily and combination skin, and this looks like it would go along with the rest of my skin care routine. Good ingredients, informative, and pretty packaging and bottle, would highly recommend!

I have bought this before and I found this one that came in a bigger bottle. I love it and really helps my face overall; wrinkles, lines, dark spots and makes my face so soft. If you don't want to use retinol then this might be for you. I apply twice a day, morning and night and goes well under makeup. Takes about two weeks to notice changes, but I'm 61 and maybe younger women might work sooner. My go to along with my moisturizer
