Short waisted for smaller cup size

This suit like some others of this brand, this season, is fairly short waisted. I'm 5'3” and 148lb and also short waisted myself and the suit felt quite short on my torso. The fabric is also flimsier than others of this brand with not as much compression. On me the cups were inadequate and I think top off at a D. The color is absolutely stunning. But I had bought this hoping it would be a more modest “mom swimsuit” and sadly my boobs are practically hanging out. (34ddd ). It does have a shelf bra with removable cups. The straps are pretty thin and might cut into your shoulders if you are fuller busted.
