I'm a big girl, I wear 2-3x in American sizes. I'm also an older gal, so my cup size has decreased to a D, but my band still runs 42ish depending on the make. I was aware of sizes running smaller in the country of origin, so I ordered a few sizes bigger in the band to make sure it fit comfortably ...... NOT. I can get them on, barely mind you. The band is just short of cutting into me, and my boobs bulge on the side, underneath and at the top. It's a miracle that the buttons stay snapped. I wear them because I have no choice.
