Rubbermaid INSTAMAT Tub Mat, Non-Slip Bath Mat

I really like this tub mat. It is the perfect size that for which I was looking for my tub. I like the color as well. The instructions state to run water in the tub first and then lay down the mat. I did that the first couple of uses, now, I just lay the mat in the tub however I do take the time to press down' all the suction cups to make sure the mat is secure. There is a little slippage on the side (very little) when getting out of the tube and this is due to added pressure of getting out of the tub. I just take more care. Overall, I have not experienced any slippage when actually using the mat while showering. I would recommend not leaving the mat in the tub after use as there would be water build up under the mat. I pull the mat up and rinse it off (for any soap residue). I use the ShamWow sheets to dry off the mat. I dry off the mat top and then dry off the back. It is designed to hang from behind the showerhead, but I just hang it over the side of the tub to dry.

Thought it best to get in the habit of using a non slip mat in the shower before I need to worry about falls in the tub! This one is pretty perfect. Has drain holes between the suction cups, thus no standing soapy water on the mat. Another nice feature is the hanging 'ring' built in that makes it convenient to hang dry over the shower head or the gdab bar. Would give this a big thumbs up also because it is not huge. It's just right!!

Hanging shower mat helps mat to drain keeping it clean and mildew free!

The Rubbermaid Instamat Tub mat is a great mat for any bathroom! It provides excellent grip, making showers feel much safer, especially on slippery surfaces. The suction cups hold well and keep the mat in place. I like how quickly it drains and dries by hanging it from the shower head which prevents mildew buildup. Great concept with the added hook to hang it!
