I saw these red carpenter barrel leg jeans in the store. I tried on a size 6 and 10, the 8 was sold out. I could just button the 6 and the 10 was way too big. My waist is 35” and hips are 41”. I ordered the 8 which fit perfectly. The jeans washed well with minimal fading of the bright red color. They did not shrink. These do stretch out a bit after wearing them for a day but not so much that I feel the 6 would be better.

I usually wear a 4 however they only had a size 2 left so I took a chance and am so glad I did! They are a little snug in the waist but not uncomfortable as there is a little stretch. The length is perfect, I'm 5'3". The denim is heavy but I still love them!
