Shoe sized for Mens foot

The sizing chart that is on these shoes is based on the MENS shoe sizing chart. A size 9 is a size 11 womens. I did not know this until I had the shoes in my possession and had to convert 42cm to US shoe charts. Part of the buckle clasp is an S hook and unclear of how to attch the strap with that type of closure. The color was true the picture and that is the only thing that was right with the shoes.
