[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5.5 year old and 2.5 year old love this seat (and often argue over it). Its a great height for my 5 year old (in the 88th percentile for height) and my 2.5 year old can use it while still touching with her tippy toes. I'm about 5'1" and can still use it without feeling scrunched so even though its a fixed height it still covers a wide range of sizes. I also appreciated that it can hold up to 300 lbs so anyone in the family can use it with out worrying about breaking it. It also happens to fit under our coffee table making it easier to store out of the way when not in use. The seat is solid but isnt hard plastic on top so its still comfortable to sit and even if you have slippery material pants you dont slide off. The grip on the bottom doesnt slide on our hard wood or shag rug (unless you tip it over significantly which youre not supposed to do anyway). My kids are young so I do have to remind them its for sitting only and to keep both feet on the ground but theyve done better with it than I anticipated. We use it a lot for home schooling and it gives my 5.5 year old a way to wiggle around a bit without getting up or climbing all over. The seat overall has been holding up well so far, even the bottom grip that my kids like to pull at with their toes when sitting. Overall its a well made, sturdy stool that is comfortable to sit on and helps get out the wiggles. I would recommend for anyone looking for something they can move a bit on.
