Add more insulation

The bottom isn't insulated, so I am going to add more and a heating pad, which will be cheaper than if I had bought the model that had all those included. We live where the winters are very cold, so it's a must for our outside cats. Overall, the house is spacious and well designed, we had no problems putting it together. I spent a while going over the attributes of these cat shelters and picked this one because it had the escape door and the price was right.

I think it is well made, and looks exactly as pictured. Assembly was easy enough for my husband. He did find that the poke holes indicated where to screw certain screws was not always lined up perfectly, but they were good enough for him to poke new holes appropriately in the spot they were supposed to be. Overall, I love this! Now let's see if our community cats behind our shop feel the same :-)

We had a feral, tortoise shell, mama cat show up as it was getting winter and I thought this would be good for her and her babies. She was a little scared of it at first, but when she realized it had an escape door, she kept going into it %26 out of the weather. Would buy again.
