Good pattern, but not great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the idea of using this as either a scarf or like I did and wrap it around the handle of my purse. However, the material is extremely slippery and doesn't stay tied very well. You can tell the material is not the greatest quality and is quite itchy on my neck. It's a great classic pattern, but I would just like a better executed.
