I wear a size 12/14 and had to put it to as long as it would go for it to fit, so I wouldn't recommend it for bigger people. It does stretch enough to be comfortable, but this also means it won't actually keep your pants up if that's what you're looking for. That being said, it's a great accent piece. The navy blue disappears against jeans so the white pattern, which is pretty cool, really pops. Since it comes in a bunch of colors and isn't expensive, I've been able to match a lot of outfits.
