I saw these red carpenter barrel leg jeans in the store. I tried on a size 6 and 10, the 8 was sold out. I could just button the 6 and the 10 was way too big. My waist is 35” and hips are 41”. I ordered the 8 which fit perfectly. The jeans washed well with minimal fading of the bright red color. They did not shrink. These do stretch out a bit after wearing them for a day but not so much that I feel the 6 would be better.

I am 5'3" tall, 170lbs, 40x38x43 and a size 12 fit me perfectly. The red color is beautiful, but to make sure it did not fade, I soaked them in white vinegar briefly to set the color as I do with all of my red clothing, then washed them on the coldest setting. They came out of the dryer nicely, with minimal shrinkage.
