these are the first pair of boots I have purchased in years that absolutely fit perfectly. they are very comfortable and if you have wide calfs as I do, they are great because it gives you plenty of room for your calfs. the boot material itself is very supple and soft just as though it were made of real suede. and the boots themselves are very comfortable and you just want to put them on the minute you see them and not take them off. I definitely recommend these boots for the women that have wide calfs, because they are so comfortable. so tell Santa he better get out there fast because I'm going to go back and buy another pair hopefully they will have my size. happy holidays and good luck on shopping

Great for wide feet, high arches and thick calves

I've never worn or purchased boots before. These would have been my first pair. I have wide feet with a high insole and thick calves. The shoe looks narrow but my feet fit comfortably in it. As a matter fact it made my feet appear slimmer and elegant. The shoes were comfortable too - no pinching of the toes. The zipper was really sturdy. The boots have a rubber sole that is smooth. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the zipper to close at the top because of the thickness of my calf. This is why I'll be returning them. I am 5'3 so the boot covered my entire leg to just below my kneecaps. I'm going to look for shorter boots with the same brand. The leg area was really wide, so if I order shorter boots it'll fit. Hope this helps!
