Its decent. I got more for the length and i do not use the butt padding so cant comment on that part. Only complaint of this and with all their shaper shorts is that are too tight around the thigh area and that part always makes my thighs bulge out so not truly seamless because you can see my thighs bulging out which creates a mark. I know some will say then go up a size but that's not the problem. I know I have a lot of shape wear And this seems to be a consistent problem with girls who have thick thighs is that all the companies that make shape have not mastered the technique of having a more seamless Ness around the thigh area. I'm not a huge fan of skims, but when they used to make their mash Shaper shorts it did not create the effect. Unfortunately, they no longer make them.
