Madison Park Palisades Comforter Set - Queen - Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter has the perfect weight for the Texas winter - not too heavy but also not too thin. It looks pretty nice as well, and I like the fact that the set already comes with everything you may need - including a bed skirt and some decorative pillows (already filled and ready for use). One of the sides has the print with the striped pattern and a finish that reminds me of suede. The reverse side is plain dark brown, in a fabric that is more like a classic comforter style. It also comes with two king size shams on the same pattern as the comforter, a skirt, and three decorative pillows. At first I thought I wouldn't like the dark colors, but it does fit pretty well and look nice once you place on the bed. We're using with white sheets but it should also work fine with beige or brown colors. The comforter was a little bit wrinkled right out of the package, but it disappeared on its own after a couple of uses.

The feel of this comforter is wonderful. The style works well with our more contemporary decor. Great quality and value.
