I got this along with a WiFi extender and had everything ready to go when it arrived. This allowed me to put signal outside and by my shed so I can watch the TV from inside. I have other splitters, but this is a 1 in and actually 4 out. I went by the pictures and not the description. I needed this so I could run ethernet cable to other parts of the house. Also, if you didn't know, there is a HUGE difference between a "Splitter" and a "Switch". If you're using a ton of devices, you'll need a switch, but if you're just doing what I need, a splitter will work fine. The cable length I'm using is about 30 ft and since this is so slim, it will go anywhere. The internet runs just fine as most of the data is coming to my tv in the shed, but it also works fine with my camera.

Very handy. These are great for organizing a home office. Or just a cluttered home.
