It was big enough and it fit (another one of these sellers sold me "women's" headware that was so small it might barely fit a child--I returned that one.). I wear this headwear under other headware to give it a fuler/bulkier look. To me, this item looks a little more "grandma" than the picture. I wouldn't personally wear it out in public by itself. I just wear it under other headware but I think it can be manipulated to make a decent at home style.
